LIZ CANN
Badminton

Liz started playing badminton because her parents and older brother played, although this was amongst many other sports at that time. She grew up in Jersey, Channel Islands and her Mum was her coach until the age of 19. Through a spark of inspiration that Liz’s Mum had when Liz was 10 years old, she decided to take Liz and her doubles partner to a tournament in England. They won their first tournament which lead to them representing the England junior team 3 years later. That was the start of a great journey, which ultimately was a journey of personal development that lasted until 2015. Battling through many injuries and many ups and downs, Liz became passionate about studying neuroscience, neuro-linguistic programming and many other mindset enhancing tools and techniques to help her get the best out of herself. She now enjoys passing these skills on to others through mentoring, life/career coaching and public speaking.
